<b>IVANHOE, N.C.</b> — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons canceled a Silver Alert  Monday for  Jacob Isaiah Brown.

Brown, 23, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, was reported missing early Monday from Juniper Springs Center, 153 Springs Lane, in Ivanhoe.

Authorities lifted the alert just before 10 a.m., saying Brown had returned safely.
