Silver Alert canceled for missing Cary man

— The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has canceled a Silver Alert for a missing endangered Cary man.

Edward Lewis Badger, who needs medication for type 2 diabetes, was last seen at 877 Buckingham Court. He was found Monday evening, police said.

    No one says we hear too many amber alerts. A missing person is a missing person. If you were family of someone missing, I don't think you would think these alerts were too much.

    No this is ridiculous. We hear too much of this and that inevitably means it will lose public attention. We need to apply some reason here.

    Actually, the silver alert does work. This is a family member of mine. Eventhough the description of him was not complete correct. We were in constant update with Cary police, WakeMed Police and other law enforcement. He as been located about 20 minutes ago. The system DOES work.
