Haha you blame the NRA but how many of the murders in the US were caused by gang bangers? India, France, Canada, and the others don't have the hip-hop culture we have in the US either.

News flash, African Americans account for 51.3% of the homicides in the US but only 13% of the population. Tell me, how many of them are NRA members? lol

Also, care to provide a source for your "statistics"?

Fact check... firearm murder rate by country number per 100,000 of population. Here's a few: India 0.28, Germany 1.01, Canada 2.22, France 2.83, UK 0.23, and the winner USA at 10.60. CLearly there are TOO many guns in our society. Thank you NRA for compromising our RIGHT to Life.

OK, So India has far more stringent gun ownership laws then France, yet a murder rate similar to USA. I'm not quite sure of correlation. Could you please help me out?
I know what I would consider to be the root cause, but that could not be posted.

Dale, I suggested a mental health evaluation for a gun permit on here not long ago, and I got sooooo much flack for it! (More government, more rules)
I think it's a great idea, but I was out voted. That statistic you are posting just reinforces my opinion. Thank you.

I LOVE the fact that more people died from murder in NC ( population 10 million) than in all of France ( population 100 million). But then in France, to own a gun, you need a background check, mental health evaluation and need to pass a gun ownership class. Viva la France.

I'm curious to know if the home owner (renter) fired the shots protecting themselves and their family /Property. Most likely it's the criminal with the gun, and that is all too often the case.
Either way, I hope they are caught. It'll help Cary residents sleep better. Prayers for the family
