Man injured in shooting at Raleigh nightclub

One man was injured overnight after gunshots were fired at a nightclub near Atlantic Avenue and Old Wake Forest Road.

RALEIGH, N.C. — One man was injured overnight after gunshots were fired at a nightclub near Atlantic Avenue and Old Wake Forest Road.

Officers with the Raleigh Police Department responded to Diva's Nightclub, located at 4410 Craftsman Drive, around 4:15 a.m.

No gunshot victims were located at the scene, but police said 41-year-old Dennis George Coble was transported to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

There was at least one bullet hole in the side of the building, which also houses Eagle 1, a gun shop and shooting range. Officers say the gun store was closed at the time but employees were inside. The incident is under investigation.
