To help local artists sell their work this holiday season, the Town of Cary created its first pop-up shop downtown. The Holly Daze Shoppe, located at 120 E. Chatham St., features everything from jewelry and fashion to art.

There are different vendors every week. I dropped by last week and met with many of artists, including Dawn Weaver, who creates mini scenes and LED-lighted ornaments.
