Posted February 6, 2013

The Triangle Mothers of Twins and Triplets holds a sale twice a year of gently used items to help members and the general public save money on items they will generally only use a few months.

Consignment sale season is in full swing now with Kids Exchange at the N.C. State Fairgrounds this week and many more scheduled over the next few months. (Check our full database for details).

Next week comes the massive Kids Everywear sale at Morrisville Outlet Mall. The sale is open to the public next Tuesday and Feb. 15 to Feb. 17.

But, the public can shop a day early on Monday during its annual Baby Shower. From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, shop early by joining the sale's mailing list and bringing in a gift to donate to charities.

Accepted gifts include a check for $15 or more made out to Sovereign Grace Church with Habitat for Humanity in the memo and unopened packages of diapers, wipes or formula valued at $15 or more, according to the website.

Expecting and adopting parents along with first-time moms also can register to shop early. For details about all of the early shopping opportunities and to sign up, check the sale's website.

Why do shoppers want to shop early at these sales? You'll have a bigger selection. The best deals and highest quality items get picked up first.
