Shooting Near Durham Ale House Leaves Many Questions

— Durham Police are on the lookout for suspects in a shooting early Thursday near the Ale House on Durham Chapel Hill Blvd.

According to police, two people were shot in the 3000 block of Weymouth Street. On victim tried to drive away, turned the corner and wrecked in front of the Ale House. Neither victim sustained life-threatening injuries.

By mid-morning, police were still trying to piece together what happened and said no suspects were in custody.

    I agree Durham is pretty bad with crime, but on the internet just last month. Charlotte made number 8 in rounding out the top 10 worst cities of crime. I think that Durham is more publicized than other cities. I was told Rocky Mount is awful as well.

    I will be signing up for a concealed carry course today.

    Crime is this area is rampant.

    Never rely on the police department to protect you - you have to protect yourself.

    stupid idiots see whats happening on the news and that people are getting caught for what they are doing and they still go out and do stupid things like this!

    maybe they are purposely trying to get arrested and go to jail for the free meals.

    be crime central in North Carolina. But wait Mayor Bell says
    crime is down in Durham. Right and the moon is made of green
