Teen shot multiple times in southeast Raleigh

A man was shot in the chest Wednesday afternoon in Idlewood Village Drive on Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A teenager was shot multiple times Wednesday afternoon on Idlewood Village Drive in Raleigh.
At 3:23 p.m. officers were dispatched to a reported shooting in the 3200 block of Idlewood Village Drive. Upon arrival, officers found a 16-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his torso and buttocks.

The victim, who was identified Thursday as Noah Dunn, was taken to WakeMed for treatment.

Police closed the road to traffic for about two hours while they searched the area for the culprits. Police said the shooter or shooters fled the scene in a vehicle. As of Wednesday night, no arrests had been made.
