Posted March 28
Fayetteville, N.C. — A Fort Bragg soldier is facing 20 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after pornographic images were found on his computer.
Detectives with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office were conducting an undercover investigation on a file sharing network in December when they discovered images of a minor engaging in a sexual act.
Authorities tracked the IP address of the computer that was used to download the images and searched the home of Anthony Redina, 36, of the 400 block of Regency Drive.
A forensic examination of Redina’s computer found sexually explicit photos and videos of minors.
Redina was charged with 10 counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor and 10 counts of third-degree exploitation of a minor.
Redina was arrested Tuesday and was being held under $150,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
