Raleigh, N.C. — On Monday at First Baptist Church Raleigh, representatives gathered for lunch and fellowship to share the mission of Sharefish: a local organization that helps people break the cycle of poverty in Honduras.
Sharefish was developed by Oie Osterkamp in honor of a favorite saying of his mother's that encouraged community service.
"It is better to be sharefish than selfish," she taught him.
Now the group has grown to sponsor more than 100 Honduran school children.
