twinredheads - I'm so glad the dental surgery went well. Good luck with the pain! I see ice cream or froyo in your near future!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. The procedure went well but I refused the pain meds with the exception of prescription strength ibuprofen. Trying to decide if that was a good idea or not :). Luckily, I don't have to worry about dry socket because an implant was placed immediately. Cold and soft today and can move up to warm and soft tomorrow. I plan on ordering the pizza, but they can take it from there :)

YBAverage--so nice to see I'm not the only one that uses the "Friday Eve" expression--I say it around the office every Thursday! :)

Tonight's dinner is looking like a pasta dish of some sort--either with some turkey sausage or Morningstar Farms chicken thrown in--nothing fancy, but tasty nonetheless.

Good luck with your surgery, TwinRedHeads--hope you've got a good caretaker so you can rest.

JDouglas--still having a surplus of cookies I see--not a terrible problem to have, LOL. I've been wanting some cake all week--today might be the day I pick up a slice (or two) at Harris Teeter--they are BOGO this week.

    Enjoy everyone!

TWIN REDHEADS - Good luck with the oral surgery. Cold might not be good. Make sure somebody sober reads your instructions and follow them to the letter. If I remember correctly (it's been a while) no straws because it might dislodge your clot. BELIEVE ME you don't want a dry socket!!!! I followed all and still got a dry socket (nurse's curse - like Murphy's law). Good luck.

Holy cow, y'all are up early this morning!

Twinredheads, good luck on your surgery that all goes smoothly and that they give you good pain meds for later. Let everyone wait on you tonight.

YBAverage, stew or soup out of your leftovers sounds good. I like leftover steak sliced really thin on top of a salad too.

Well, last night was white baked ziti with spinach baked into it. I have a ridiculous amount of leftovers, so it will be on the menu again tonight. Chocolate chip cookies for dessert, because I made way too many of them as well.

I have 2 rib eye steaks left from dinner the other night that need to be cooked. Thinking a soup, stew or chili. Will have to check the fridge and pantry. Happy Friday Eve everyone !

twinredheads - Good luck with your surgery today! I hope you have minimal discomfort after.

barbiedoll1967 - enjoy your turkey dog!

We are having leftover baked tortellini, garlic bread, broccoli and some kind of protein (although I am not sure what yet.....). We'll see what the store has for me today.

Twinredheads - I hope your oral surgery goes well today. I didn't have my turkey hotdogs last night so it's back on the menu for tonight. Happy Thursday everybody! It's the first day of the fair. Wish I didn't work so I could go!

I have to have oral surgery today :( and believe I will not be up for cooking so Papa John's it is. I have a coupon code for 50% off my order which makes it frugal. I will be having a pumpkin smoothie.
