No matter what I say, you will believe what you want to believe. BLM was formed in response to police shooting unarmed citizens, a disproportionate amount of them being black. You and millions of people just like you refuse to see why that is. You refuse to look outside your own comfortable little life and see what our systems do to marginalized folks in this country. As long as you have yours, who cares about anybody else. That's what all this is about, as well as what the election was about. Your candidate won, and you guys STILL aren't satisfied, complaining about everything you can find. It's sickening.

Have you ever read a secession declaration? Each seceding state made maintaining slavery a main argument for their actions. Some states even made it a goal to expand slavery. Saying the civil war was not about slavery is even more false than saying it was only about slavery. Interestingly, you will find very little about states rights grievances in those documents.

The fake news media and liberals are jumping on the bandwagon to blame President Trump for this.

Just a legend? In your mind and in your opinion maybe. In reality--supported by history, the South fought to defend itself from Northern domination and the right of the people to decide their own future. As you are about to try and say the war was about slavery--no it was not. Even Lincoln said so- -so your assertion that Southern men fought for their beliefs being false is incorrect.

So BLM enciting police shootings is ok with you because they are standing up for "basic human rights"... got it.
As long as another liberal drinks the Kool-aid, you are happy to be a sheep and do the same

There is a distinct difference between standing up for your humanity, basic rights, and equality, and standing around saying you are better than everybody with a different color skin. This was about Nazi-wanna-be's and KKK, and was totally about racism and bigotry. They said as much, so saying it wasn't is just a lie. Ask yourself WHY there has to be a BLM and NAACP. You can talk all you want about your statues, but putting up monuments for people whose entire claim to fame was based on defending slavery is nothing but bigotry and a desire to bring back the past.

Explain to me how a demonstration that had violence from both the protesters and the anti-protesters on the streets caused a chopper to crash?!

Not who but what on blm and naacp...racism, injustice, mistreatment are the result of these organizations. ...to protect those that could not protect themselves . .... this protest was not about racism or Injustice.

As a history buff you probably remember that the one time North Carolinians were asked if the state should join the confederacy, they politely refused. The political and economic elite fearing and end to slavery decided otherwise. The legend of the confederate soldier fighting for his belief is just a legend.

Need to read up on your history before slapping your soup coolers. One of the first things the Nazi's did in their rise to power was to burn books, try to stomp out freedom of speech and to destroy statues, monuments etc of Germans who represented points of view contrary to Nazi beliefs. Sound familiar? How else would you characterize the forced removal of statues memorializing Southern soldiers who fought for their beliefs?
