that's right republican voters, get outraged about somethingthat doesn't exist, you make it so much easier for republicans to destroy this nation because you are happy to look away from what they're really doing. Build schools, not bombs, repair infrastructure here not overseas, healthcare for all not just those who can afford it, tax the rich not just the middle class.

Once again the NCGA is busy chipping away at the rights of all people. It's really the last paragraph that is the scariest for women in this state about doing away with funding for PP. As we have seen in other states, this is a loser in the courts.

How about everyone just read the title"

"AN ACT TO REQUIRE INFORMED CONSENT FOR THE DONATION OF THE
REMAINS OF AN UNBORN CHILD; TO PROHIBIT THE SALE OF ANY ABORTED
OR MISCARRIED MATERIAL OR REMAINS OF AN UNBORN CHILD RESULTING
FROM AN ABORTION OR MISCARRIAGE; AND TO LIMIT THE USE OF STATE
FUNDS FOR CONTRACTS PERTAINING TO TEEN PREGNANCY PREVENTION
    INITIATIVES AND PROJECTS."

This is so much more than PP. Look at that last sentence! One quarter of teen pregnancies end in abortion, yet they want to simultaneously limit funding for teen pregnancy reduction initiatives while making it harder for these girls to receive abortions if necessary.

I am not advocating abortion, yet teen pregnancy is an immense economic drain on society that needs to be confronted with vigor. Yet this General Assembly is doing its best to dismantle solid methods of sex education and unwanted pregnancy prevention.

Isn't throwing out the word "genocide" and referring to folks as "sheepeople" also trolling?

Do you know? Or better yet do you know who started the practice and for what reason. Perhaps you should review the history of PP and who decide to provider cheap/free abortions and for who. Educate yourself and then you will understand why the word "genocide" should be used when talking about PP.

I would go further ans say they should not benefit from modern science at all. No insulin, no medications, no surgery, no health care.

I have watched the uncut videos. Much of which was not even filmed at PP and shows still born fetuses that were not aborted. Just as most Christians want science is not understood. Abortions are going to happen but lets prevent research from using these tissues that are consented and the only money that changes hands is to cover the costs involved, NO PROFIT in other words. This is the way ALL organ donation is done.

Genocide? Do you even know what the word means?

To those who don't understand that editing for time is not the same as making stuff up, you can easily find the entire videos, uncut, unedited, online. But you won't pursue that as ignorance is bliss and justifies your stance. You will continue to feel that if you want the unborn, he's your baby. If you don't, he's not human enough to matter, though his organs are.

I can't believe you could be this dense. That video should be considered illegal at this point. The fact that laws are being drawn around it should be criminal. I could make a similar edited video that would make anty candidate look like they are in favor of kicking puppys and act like it was true.

Great! So now I have to go out of state to get my fetal tissue?

If Planned Parenthood states that this practice doesn't happen on NC, why would this language bother them?

I have MS, but l still would not, do not and WILL NEVER support stem cell research considering what it takes to get the stem cells. End of story.

The videos were not edited, the disgusting truth is abortion is murder and these little lives matter. If we had an Attorney General he would be investigation the 3 Planned Parenthood offices in NC that do this monstrous act but Roy Cooper agrees with selling baby body parts.
Thank You Republicans for doing what you can.

I hope the good senator's children never need a bone marrow transplant, gene therapy, a cancer or MS drug, or any drug derived from stem cell research...all of these treatments are based on research involving fetal tissues.

1- The videos have been proven to be biased, partisan hack jobs that splice together several different conversations to be something they're not.

2- EVERYONE should be against this practice:

"until the committee stripped its original language and inserted the [whatever] measure"

  • mykesmovies Sep 23, 2015

Same ole same ole, how bout them jobs you promised us.
