How true. One could take my wallet and I wouldn't shoot it out with them over it.

That was a different situation than this one.

While I carry, I ain't risking my neck for some material stuff.

Bottom line and something you anti gunners need to really get through your heads is, the SCOTUS has ruled, that the police DO NOT have a constitutional duty to protect you. I'll give you a minute to read that a few times.

So you go ahead and wait for the cops to show up. I won't.

"Pity there wasn't a concealed handgun permittee in that store ... that fight would have been over quick."

You mean like the situation in Las Vegas a few weeks ago where a husband and wife went on a shooting spree? If I remember correctly, they entered a Wal-Mart or some other store that was being "protected" by a citizen with a handgun. That citizen is now dead.

... What? Tracking devices? No, I don't think anyone would want to waste that kind of money on $60 merchandise. Gamestop keeps all the games behind the counter and acquiring them would require more time than he probably wanted to spend here. Not to mention actually carrying the games - they're not small.

As for violence, the only games this could really come close to imitating would be the Payday games, but that's apples and oranges. Robberies were committed before games were invented. That's all this is - no need to read into it.

Robbed with a sawed-off bolt action rifle. Pity there wasn't a concealed handgun permittee in that store ... that fight would have been over quick.

Many kids pay for video games with cash, as they don't have credit or debit cards. And stores must keep an amount of cash on hand in order to do business if people come in wanting to spend cash.

Strange how so many games are filled with violence, that this robber may have mimicked, but didn't take any video games. Maybe he thinks or knows the games have a tracking device.

  • earnyourownway Jul 9, 2014

I'm amazed we still have business's being robbed. No-one carries cash and they pay for everything with a credit/debit card. How much money do these criminals get now when pulling a armed robbery?

  • heard-it-all-before Jul 9, 2014

that's not a long gun anymore. it becomes a weapon of mass destruction after he sawed off the barrel. be sure to charge him with that mega felony once you catch him.

  • tsquaring Jul 9, 2014

Wral, he's white. You intentionally forgot that in your description. Sad when you're so PC that you have to leave race off a description. Shame on you wral. Every other part of your description is also on the video, so why leave it off?

  • 68_dodge_polara Jul 9, 2014

Those game stores get knocked over a lot. Weird.
