"Yet more proof that the best interest of NC citizens are secondary to the GOP's quest for power. Recent examples: Removing geologists and other scientists from boards to replace them with developers who have no concern for our natural resources, etc."

Sickening.

Yet more proof that the best interest of NC citizens are secondary to the GOP's quest for power. Recent examples: Removing geologists and other scientists from boards to replace them with developers who have no concern for our natural resources, etc. As hard as they try, sometimes carpetbaggers can't fully appreciate the traditional values of the good people of the Old North State. I hope we see more temper tantrums as at least some sense of balance returns. Thanks to the members who stood for reason and for the good of the citizens!

Wow. Apodaca had a temper tantrum because they inserted some sanity into his bill.

Why don't they ban gay marriage again? They have only done it twice. And it makes them very popular out in the boonies.

Turn about is fair play.

The GOP is intellectually bankrupt, and when the Democrats come back into power, then the Republicans should expect the exact same thing.

Looks like this bunch is going to make the corruption and ineptness of the Perdue and Easley administrations seem petty.

Sometimes it is just amazing the lengths the republicans will go to when they want to stack the deck.

Don't they realize that all the power grabbing they are doing is going to get them voted out of power AGAIN?

Why do they think there have only been 3 republican governors since 1901? And why there is rarely a republican majority in either house.

WAKE UP, start acting like decent humans instead of Koch brother driven, wealthy donor and party obsessed officials.
