What new gun law would have stopped these criminals?

  • marciamal1 Feb 26, 2013

What's gotten into these teens now a days

  • ThePunisher Feb 26, 2013

"Wonder why no pics of the perps??"

WRAL hardly shows pics of the perps, if no pics are shown you can safely assume it looks like a certain president's son if that certain president had one.

N&O has the mugshots of the perps, just google one of perp's name and it's the second link

  • mrr03 Feb 26, 2013

Thank the Judge for allowing them to be back on the street

  • Rebelyell55 Feb 26, 2013

Fine job getting them off the street, just sad they'll be out before too long and will do more damage.

  • exposure102 Feb 26, 2013

Why half the story? One of the three was also booked on possession of cocaine charges if you read the story elsewhere...

  • ljcs357 Feb 26, 2013

Wonder why no pics of the perps?? Don't bother just more of the same.... (so sad) When will that community take pride in themselves and stand up for whats right????

What community are you talking about? Low income? Black? eh, don't answer that..so somehow this is my fault? I should slow down on building my career at work and stop taking evening classes to teach someone elses child right from wrong. I don't think so mate. THESE individuals chose to make a stupid decision that reflects terribly on themselves and THEIR family.

  • romneycare Feb 26, 2013

    in other words, attempted murder?

  • davisgw Feb 25, 2013

Two of them are guilty of minor in possesion of firearm. Will they be charged or will the news try to spin the story to pass more laws that only affect law abiding gun owners?

  • Squirreling Dervish Feb 25, 2013

Capital blvd needs to be nuked from space....

  • jetset Feb 25, 2013

Wow....they start young, don't they? I think maybe we should charging the parent ( s ) for something. I wonder if they are even aware how their children are doing in school, who they hang around with, what time they come home at night, when was the last time they went to church as a family, what type of videos they watch.....the list goes on and on.

  • ThePunisher Feb 25, 2013

Bartmeister, just google the perp's names and you'll find the mugshots.

  • 321oohaw Feb 25, 2013

    ims1924...love the sarcasm

  • stevecourt2003 Feb 25, 2013

They know it was illegal......peroid. LOTS of public service for them. Probation for 5 years. If they break the law in those 5 years then they get the punishment of the current crime and this one as an adult. AGAIN, the problem is with the people and not the weapon.

"Malique age 17, Truth age 16 and Hoshayah age 18. Let us not be too hard on these young men because this may be the first time they have done something like this. With another chance, they could grow up to be pillars of society." ims1924

Or, we could "slap them on the wrists" and they could be full fledged murderers soon. How about a real simple 5-10 years in prison for them to think on what it is like to be a criminal versus a real citizen. They would still be young enough to change their ways. Or give them a couple of years in prison with 5 years supervised probation and restrictions on who they get to associate with. But we must stop this young felony punk stuff.

  • zenonx6 Feb 25, 2013

Any crime involving a gun should be met with the death penalty.Wait,,,, Any violent crime also.

  • readme Feb 25, 2013

I guess it depends on the circumstances. Is this destruction of someone's property, or where they shooting at someone?

  • ims1924 Feb 25, 2013

Malique age 17, Truth age 16 and Hoshayah age 18. Let us not be too hard on these young men because this may be the first time they have done something like this. With another chance, they could grow up to be pillars of society.

  • Indifferent...sometimes Feb 25, 2013

Why $30K. Hope they can get released in time for school tomorrow.

  • lopo Feb 25, 2013

shame on them, don't they know it is against the law to have and shoot that weapon. What we need is more gun laws against law abiding citizens so that way the bad guys learn the law. :)

  • Phyxius1 Feb 25, 2013

Another senseless shooting incident in Raleigh. Whats wrong with some of these young kids these days...Capital blvd is also where people thought the property in my car looked better in their possession....TWICE..

  • SFSOLDIER Feb 25, 2013

Another group of fine Americans! Just where did they mange to get that weapon, I ask?

  • Scubagirl Feb 25, 2013

Glad they caught them, now please make some charges stick, put some teeth in them and maybe, just maybe they won't be out killing folks soon.

  • Bartmeister Feb 25, 2013

Don't even need a visual. Surprised there aren't "file photos" being shown

  • deb788 Feb 25, 2013

Glad they were found and arrested.
