I would argue that if three of your first five games are at South Carolina, at Georgia Tech, and at Virginia Tech, then you probably deserve a bye in there somewhere.

State fans should be ecstatic about that schedule.

As for UNC not playing FSU and Clemson again, they're in different divisions, just like State won't be playing GT and VT again.

I don't remember having TWO byes in the past, but I do like the way it breaks up the season, giving the guys time to heal from injuries. I also like having Duke as the last game on the schedule, like the way it used to be.
