My Wolfpack will be lucky to win 5 games.

UNC has won 2 of the last 15 against GT in football so even if Swofford did manipulate the schedule this way, it obviously doesn't work. I would argue that if three of your first five games are at South Carolina, at Georgia Tech, and at Virginia Tech, then you probably deserve a bye in there somewhere.

Carry on with the conspiracy theories though; they are certainly entertaining.

The same way Swofford manages to give UNC a bye week before playing GT almost every year.

Duke and NCCU play because its a community thing - good for Duke, good for Central, and good for Durham.

It really is that simple.
Post by hi_i_am_wade
I know, right? Their first four games are home games, and five of their first six. They get a bye after two should-win games before their first conference game, which is a home game. They only leave the state twice and not until almost November for the first time. State fans should be ecstatic about that schedule.

As for UNC not playing FSU and Clemson again, they're in different divisions, just like State won't be playing GT and VT again.

I learned that during the OJ trial in '94(?). That was sad from a purely judicial standpoint. I'm not gonna bytch though; my attorney has dug me out a few times, although only for speeding, etc.

You're probably right about Pistorius. These days, it's not so much a matter of innocence or guilt, as much as it is about hiring the best lawyer money can buy.

I don't remember having TWO byes in the past, but I do like the way it breaks up the season, giving the guys time to heal from injuries. I also like having Duke as the last game on the schedule, like the way it used to be.
