Saul Alinsky tactic from Rules for Radicals.

The third rule of the ethics of means and ends is that in war the ends justifies almost any means.

The Democrats and the media only care about regaining power in our state...they will ridicule, lie, cheat, steal...hmmm, who else came to this world to lie, cheat and destroy?

  • Danny22 Feb 25, 6:43 p.m.

Looks like the crooked Soros is got his hand in the Blueprint group too.

  • Karmageddon Feb 25, 2:41 p.m.

"To all you folks fuming about how liberals are illiterate, brain-dead and maniacal"

You left off "uncompromising" and a few other words that wouldn't make it to this post

  • Crumps Br0ther Feb 25, 2:36 p.m.

Won't do any good......They will just do what ACORN did....regroup under a different name and keep doing the same thing

I just posted the same thing. I guess I should have read the comments first

  • warrenschatz001 Feb 25, 2:08 p.m.

To all you folks fuming about how liberals are illiterate, brain-dead and maniacal, you seem to have some misdirected thoughts; This article isn't about any of the above and it's not about corrupt politicians.. It IS about "nonprofit groups" or special interests rousing great partisanship in government and between parties (as seen this over and over again in the last election). It is special interest "contributions" and likewise lobbying and Pork-barrel spending that has hijacked our representation and gridlocked Washington, these must STOP before we can end this bipartisanship and get our govt working again- for us! All this miss-directed hate does not help the root of the problem. If we consider the bad apple politicians as strictly that- bad apples and not representatives of their entire party we can end this bipartisan nonsense, come together and devise real solutions to the real causes of this nations problems. EVERYBODY LOVE EVERYBODY!

  • will2 Feb 25, 1:58 p.m.

And remember, if you get caught; deny deny deny and then be "outraged" at the mere suggestion that you're involved. Gosh I love Democratic politics.

  • driverkid3 Feb 25, 11:27 a.m.

terrie::::WRAL is forwarding it's own right wing agenda, yet again.

So you honestly think WRAL is "right wing"? I'd love to see what you consider as left wing or even in the middle. WRAL is in the pocket for the dems, and if you don't know that by now, you are truly hopeless!

    "Yank their 501c3 status"

Won't do any good......They will just do what ACORN did....regroup under a different name and keep doing the same thing

  • jamzwilkins Feb 25, 10:46 a.m.

    Yank their 501c3 status.

  • readme Feb 25, 10:32 a.m.

This just shows what we all knew anyway. These leftist, "progressive" groups are more rude and selfish than the typical pasty, old white conservative.

  • torchhappysean Feb 25, 10:25 a.m.

I seriously hope noone actually thought that they would confess to this.. Denial, smoke screens, and accusations of others wrongdoing!!! Thats the political way of handling corruption!!!!

  • btneast Feb 25, 10:23 a.m.

Chicagao-style Dem politics don't fly here in NC.

Another LOL. It has served them well in NC for many years, you are just now hearing about it.

  • jalively1971 Feb 25, 9:09 a.m.

Its funny that to find corruption for a rep. you need to hire an investigator.

To find corruption for a Dem, just walk into any voting booth.

  • btneast Feb 25, 8:50 a.m.

What's the big deal here? WRAL is forwarding it's own right wing agenda, yet again. This is a non story and the political tactics are nothing compared to WRAL's favore son Jesse Helms

LOL. WRAL is about as left of center as you can get. Maybe not so much WAY back in the days of Helms, but that was a LONG time ago. Leadership is much different now than then....keep up!

  • sachananty Feb 24, 11:33 p.m.

I say BS to Blueprint NC and their Liberal/Progressive Democrat buddies Obama & Soros. They get caught doing their dirty deed and blame their victim. Typical criminal mentality of all Democrats!!

  • The Yoda Feb 24, 5:12 p.m.

Boy, the backpedaling and b_tt covering is in full swing. The Democraks hate it when they are caught doing the stuff they accuse everyone else of doing.

  • mikeev Feb 24, 12:54 p.m.

You have now seen it in print and quoted from reliable sources involved in this dispicable practice. Their goal is to make it difficult for the Governor and the legislature to govern and to help liberal organizations push their agendas. This is not what the Founding Fathers fought so hard to prevent. This is a power grab tactic and nothing else. These groups do not care what happens to the general public and they are, by their own words, in it for themselves. Sleezy is two full notches above these groups and this style of politics. Shame on them. If you don't like policies of a certain party elect someone who you think will add to the solution but don't go looking to knock someone froma position of governing just to get even or push an agenda. Foolish tactics like that always come back to bite your backside. I live in California. Believe me I've seen and experienced it.

  • dutra123123 Feb 24, 10:51 a.m.

    Deny. Deny. Deny.

  • ghettovegas111 Feb 24, 8:45 a.m.

By the time this memo gets covered up and topped it will be sweeter than a banana split. It is mysteriously absent from most of the small dailies down east. But I am sure it can get spinned so that by next election cycle it will be a more important document than the Monroe Doctrine. You can do some stupid things if you own the press.

  • tweaver1945 Feb 24, 6:34 a.m.

Oh Hum, standard left leaning progressive stuff.

  • Triumph Feb 23, 11:22 p.m.

Chicagao-style Dem politics don't fly here in NC.

  • cbuckyoung Feb 23, 10:58 p.m.

This is the typical leftist, attack dog approach. Since they have nothing to say constructively, they try and defecate on people that actually understand and act logically that the government is the servant of the people who pay the bills not the other way around.

  • joincalifornia Feb 23, 7:24 p.m.

Sure. Because it was made public.

I happen to love this country. And these progressives don't. They are dedicated to their hard left ideas, they never notice when their ideas fail or cause misery to other Americans (to wit, the urban hellholes that too many of our inner cities have become thanks to the 5 decade 12 trillion dollar unmonitored experiment called welfare, personally, I mourn for the young Black Americans who die before reaching adulthood. Every day.)

In the 2012 election, the Democrats ripped off their masks of civility. If you missed either the VP debate or the foreign policy presidential debate, you need to go and watch it. These leftist leaders are nasty, mean spirited, and vicious. And now we are seeing top down rot throughout what was once a civil society.

  • raleighmom Feb 23, 7:09 p.m.

Are you going to disclose the ties between Blueprint and WRAL's Jim Goodmon?

  • Brogden Feb 23, 5:13 p.m.

Typical liberal reply - we didn't prepare it, we didn't write it, we don't know anything abou it - we just distribute it and believe it is true!

  • Brogden Feb 23, 4:50 p.m.

Typical liberal reply - we support it, we believe it, we distribute it - but it isn't from us!!!!

  • ronda1991 Feb 23, 3:34 p.m.

If Republicans had made a memo saying the same thing the media would make a HUGE deal about it. It's minimized when the Democrats do it.

  • lcamile4 Feb 23, 3:32 p.m.

    A tangled web:
Will WRAL try to distance their involvement in blueprintNC as well?

  • terrie Feb 23, 2:43 p.m.

What's the big deal here? WRAL is forwarding it's own right wing agenda, yet again. This is a non story and the political tactics are nothing compared to WRAL's favore son Jesse Helms.

  • david46 Feb 23, 2:36 p.m.

So typical of those with no honor....deny,deny,deny

  • BadDayforButch Feb 23, 2:02 p.m.

Disavow any knowledge when caught...that is also part of the Dems playbook.

  • 68_dodge_polara Feb 23, 1:42 p.m.

They can't even figure out which lies to lie about now. These crooks really need to have their tax exempt status revoked.

  • Nancy Feb 23, 1:33 p.m.

    Backpeddling doesn't cut it.
