Okay... I live in Fuquay ... and there is an ABC store over by sheetz... Really. You don't want it near churches or day cares... you all sound so Ridiculous!!! If some one wants to buy lotto their going to drive and find a store with it, if some one wants alcohol they will drive to go get it.... YOU MAKE IT SOUND LIKE OUR TOWN HAS NO SELF CONTROL... GROW UP !!!

Convenience. Jeez, willie, what kind of ECU'er are you?

If the puritan nannies in FV prevail, in the future their karma will cause either an opium den or a marijuana dispensary to go in the location slated for ABC. For cryin' out loud, people, it's a retail store with no consumption, not a nekkid bar or an internet cafe.

Forget about building the ABC store. Build another big church. Keep it open 24/7 for those people in Fuquay. They have way too much time on their hands and they should be in church.

What a complete joke. Wrong on so many levels, both from the left and the right. The ABC program is a joke. Privatize it! But also a joke is not allowing it near a school or a church. As long as the land is zoned for commercial, any retail outlet should be allowed.

Im sure the teachers are bummed. I know a lot of them that drink. cant say I blame em, after putting up with your precious snow flakes all day, I probably would too!

C'mon FV toughen up. I have some friends who live in Branson, MO the buckle of the Bible Belt(a state that doesnt have state run liquor stores by the way)and there is sex shop across the street from a church. Ya know what the church does? They pray that the place will either close or move, they didnt go crying to the city.

I'm sure the clerks would check the ID's of anyone looking 10 or younger........and the ABC's aren't open on Sunday's when the largest church services are in progress. Get serious, Fuquay Folks.
