This is great. I'm glad to hear this wait this is NOT good to hear esp when you (me) are a person who has gone to several banks etc over the past year in order to obtain a small biz loan to start a very simple family cafe and been told NO in every way possible. Stating a cafe just its a good investment. Yet, there are articels like this everyday. Can anyone explain? The banks are able to come up with bs every time....and NO its not credit related.- daydreamnn

If your loan was denied in Raleigh it more than likely would have been denied in Huston, Miami, New York, Benson, Anchorage, Bermuda, etc.

Huh? Th republican are charge and this is great news for the city, because that will bring jobs, just like the republicans said they would. Its in print now. Business group: Raleigh No. 2 best place to start a business." We voted correctly.

How does cutting the age on tanning create jobs? How does rejecting the medical marijuana bill create jobs? How does shutting down sweepstakes create jobs? Sounds like a Communnist party far from creating anything but tyranny. Did you see the GOP guy that said people were "harrassing" him about a bill? Imagine people calling you and telling you what they want from their representitive.

If the GOP wouldnt have shot down the medical marijuana bill tons of jobs would have been created right here in NC. Thanks for that "less gov" garbage you spill. Areola's? Possums? Tanning beds? Weed? Wheres that liberty at??????

Why should the politicians of North Carolina get credit for the business success of a city? Republican or Democrat, doesn't matter. How about kudos to Raleigh for doing well despite the obstacles put in place by state and federal red tape?

Wait til the businesses hear about our new possum and aereola legislation. I'm sure that will bump us up to No. 1 in no time. Afterall job creators love nothing more than possum and covered aereola right?

Perfect example of the conservative lie. Thought the liberals were destroying our state with their 100 year reign. Well looks like that reign is paying off big time. Education & research are the ways forward, but the conservative movement would have you thinking otherwise.
