You've obviously never been to Russia. And the Philippines are Eden compared to some of the Balkan states.

Gone too soon. Condolences to Henderson's family and of course his Duke family.

Shocking news,such a shame.

Wow, just can't believe it. So sad for anyone to go at such a young age.

Very sad. R.I.P.

Prayers for his family and friends. That said I have been to the Philippines many times and there isn't a more corupt society from police included. Unless he had a known heart condition then an investigation needs to be done. The number of expats and foreigners done in by wives, girlfriends or others boggles the mind. With the Philippines even if he did have a heart condition I'd investigate.

"He played in the NBA for the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat before moving to Manila to establish the Filipino Basketball Academy."

With 3 strong and established programs in our area (4 if you don't think Wake Forest is too far away to be counted), it's easy to forget that most of the recruits to our big schools' basketball teams are really classy guys off the court.

Yep, that one has always been on my highlight reel. I remember when he was a freshman coming in the game and started immediately nailing outside jumpers. I was thinking then, this kid is going to be special.

RIP My prayers are with the Henderson family.

Way too soon to leave us! Prayers for the family.

Very sad, prayers to his family and friends.
