Actually cantstandgoloanymore, defense spending is 14%, Welfare 10%, Pensions 18%, Healthcare 19% and Education 13%. Sorry to let facts get in the way!

That's fine! Nobody thought a bunch of 15th century terrorists could take down the World Trade Center with a few box cutters either, did they? After all it's far more important to liberals and their ideology that we hand out taxpayer money to the lazy and the illegals and give gifts of military equipment to our friends- the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. I get it! And Russia, China, Iran and North Korea laugh!

I live a few hundred yards away from the base, so it doesn't bother me a bit that they are cancelling the air show. I hear and see those planes everyday. And between the choices of spending the money on an un-needed air show OR use the money to keep our boys ready, I'd say they made a wise move!

yankee1 - like any of your doomsday prophecies are going to happened. Even with the budget cuts, our defense spending is still more than the entire GDP of all but the top 19 countries. It is 6 times the next nearest defense spending budget of any other country in the world. Yeah, cutting it 10-20% is going to just leaves open for take over.

djofraleigh you realize that if the country is attacked and our military is budgeted out of existence, carbon emissions will matter even less than they do now. You liberals really have no clue at all.
