I wonder, are they still talking about yesterday or next Wednesday, considering this is Thursday?

You know what I hate? Those TV weathermen who say, "You're going to need a jacket tomorrow!" Up YOURS, pal! Tell me what the TEMPERATURE is going to be and *I'll* decide if I need a jacket or not.

"what's not good are drivers who insist on speeding in the rain."

Drivers who insist on going 45mph on the highway because it's raining are just as bad as the speeders.

We certainly need the rain. Where else would we get our water? Allow God to do his work without all the whinny and complaints. He knows what he is doing. Cannot sun shine all the time. We do need the rain. Its really dry, and this rain is really helping. So deal with it and stay inside or whatever you do when it raining.

I agree with Pause to Consider.
Weather should be straight reporting without the added sensationalism.
Weather = hard news. We do not need you to editorialize the stories.

    how is rain "miserable"?!

  • pause to consider Feb 13, 8:56 a.m.

I wish WRAL would remove their drama from the weather forecasts. If it's raining or sunny, I'll determine if my day is miserable or perfectly fine.

  • RockGuitar Feb 13, 8:03 a.m.

rain showers in our forecast should never be described as miserable. Coupled with heavy rain and high winds, ok, perhaps. But we need rain, rain is good. what's not good are drivers who insist on speeding in the rain. that's miserable no matter how you slice it.
