First, my post was not promoting "dook" as a better team than Miami, your posts keep referring to state as a better team. We can play the "this team beat that team by x amount of points" but it conference play does make a difference and head to head counts. Miami is the best in the conference and their record proves it! If you use your analogy Duke is better because they beat State by a larger margin!

Carolina would have been better off [and saved themselves a long road trip] by just conceding the game ahead of time and staying home and practicing.

I mean, they had to have known they'd be embarrassed.

Maybe they only showed up to play because they didn't think it would be this bad. Well, any bubble of hope like that certainly was thoroughly popped.

I doubt any delusion regarding the depths of their worthlessness has survived this game.

Since your quote was about state, where does miami fit in?

Comment was not for you but since you want to reply, truth hurts don't it!

I do not care how good you think Dook is, if Miami shoots like they did today when they come to Durham, then it will not even be close!
Post by Stilllearnin
What's dumb, is that you cannot see through those Dook Blew Blinders! State took this same Miami team to the wire, while Dook and UNC were taken to the woodshed! Match-up wise, State is better than Dook. Dook has a better Conference record, but that does not mean that they are better.

What is painful is being a State fan. So much talent with very little to show for it. I think State might have faired better without so much preseason hype by the media. It just goes to show how much (or little) the media knows... about anything. They still have a chance to redeem themselves, but there is very little room for error now. Everyone expected UNC to have down year, except the media, which had them ranked in the preseason top 25 as well. I think with their current record, UNC is exceeding a lot of the true fans expectations, while State is failing miserably at meeting most of theirs.

How many teams has State lost to in the ACC? How can you claim State is better that's just dumb!

foghat duke will only be threatened in 1 game at cameron and that game will be against miami and that game will result in a loss for duke miami is just as good this year as north carolina was last year and they will dismantle you guys in cameron as well it wont matter miami is a better defensive team than duke is and plus you might can match them on the outside but they got 2 inside guys to yall 1 that will be the key difference in miamis 81-77 win in cameron on march 2nd!

Stick to your day job, because you won't make a dime on the comedy circuit!
