Maybe the so called psychic can ask her what really happened. I can't beleive that WRAL still has the story posted.

I thought I'd seen some whoppers on the news, but this one is just plain cruel. Some people don't have the sense God gave them, or they've put it on the shelf for awhile. WRAL was a station I turned to for trustworthy news. Seeing this cruel story, displayed for Kathleen's family and all the world to see, has me questioning whether other stories WRAL runs are to be trusted. The only 'good' thing out of this news? The free publicity should help this 'psychic' hear her phone start ringing off the wall. But then, she could say the phone is inhabited by all the angry spirits wanting her to speak for them?

I don't give a rip if somebody said the summbichen' place in haunted. IF they gave me the place I'd move in quicker than you can say 'Casper the Friendly Ghost.'

I get negative energy when I go into work, when I go to the store and the cashier with the attitude and the dmv,and many other places, big deal.
I have been on many haunted investigations and have used the renowned "Spirit Box",and the "Spirits",I get are all very nice and sarcastic and funny never harmful and I feel very comfortable around them and even safe .

    BEE ESS alert

Despite all the negative comments chastising WRAL for posting this story because of the story content, I will say this to the contrary:
I was there at the Peterson house when they held the estate sale in November of 2003, only days after his conviction.
The estate sale was a madhouse everyone buying up every last "souvenir" - the purchase line had formed a trail all the way past the boarded up kitchen stairway.
I too gawked at the house, the mismatched furniture from two families, and it's dusty and dirty state at the time. I can remember feeling uncomfortable in the house, and found myself not wanting anything from the sale (I normally enjoy estate sales) - just felt the need to leave.
Seeing tiny blood spatter stains on the hall kitchen wall surrounding the boarded up stairway entrance did not help any. It's been almost ten years, but I can clearly recall just like yesterday, the negative karma while there that day of the estate sale. And no, I am NOT psychic.

It's just your imagination getting the best of you.Just like when people go to haunted houses and places and are afraid they will see a ghost.Spirits don't harm you.Hollywood harms you.
If you were a true Psychic you would be able to communicate, with the spirits or spirit if it is haunted.

Has WRAL gone from news media to gossip column? Maybe he is getting some free press for a reality show starring ghosts. Or are the ghost hunters going make a stop in Durham.

  • Hill55 Feb 8, 6:38 p.m.

i just watched this piece on the TV... slow news day?

couldn't find anything negative to say about Gov McCrory? Oh, you did feature Bev. figures.

but you found time to slam Duke.

when you run out of good local news, spend some time looking back at how Prez Obama handled Benghazi. HE DIDN'T!

When someone named Biond Fury starts getting press and the media thinks we need to hear his views, we've fallen into an Idiocratic state as a society.

  • iron fist Feb 8, 5:59 p.m.

Fury didn't know about the murder until he considered buying the home? Where's he been it case was on the news for years. I think this is just a way for him to get media attention. Media coverage sells. He will have a book out soon. Not buying!

  • seagull4life Feb 8, 5:56 p.m.

I hope you did some fact checking on Mr. Fury, he has a very checkered past and seems to have been quite a deadbeat. I wonder if Mark Arrow ever got his $21,000(negative energy) in back rent? Nothing more than an overblown publicity stunt to show the house....it will probably be for sale soon. You should have used you psychic abilities wral. hoot!!! hoot!!

  • computer trainer Feb 8, 5:44 p.m.

Nut case! I mean come on! The guy bought a house where someone died. Whether she was murdered or not.

  • disgusted2010 Feb 8, 5:41 p.m.

More entertainment by WRAL. Unfortunately, that's what the "news" has become today. Entertaining the masses, regardless of relevance or truth.

  • paultaylorsr100 Feb 8, 5:35 p.m.

What I find odd is they will put this non-sense in the news but, not the news that Jesse, Jr. signed a plea deal that could send him to prison for years!!! I thought he was sick?

  • highcountry Feb 8, 5:34 p.m.

Creeepy!!! That poor woman. If her husband didn't kill her, than who did!

  • Homeward Feb 8, 5:30 p.m.

Shame on you WRAL - making this a Top Story? Good heavens - why not start listing Horoscopes on the Weather page? This is the silliest thing I've ever seen on a "news" site!

  • ehart Feb 8, 5:28 p.m.

How interesting that someone not even connected to this case can sense the TRUTH!
