How do you miss a school bus? Judging by today's accident - easily.

I saw the area blocked off this morning. Had no idea a school bus was involved, but that is such a dangerous area, and people drive like nuts through there. I don't understand why people don't just get up a few minutes early and go where they need to go so they don't have to rush and cause the kind of traffic headache I had to endure this morning while trying to maneuver Peace Street.

Just don't understand why people cannot see a big yellow school bus. I hope those that was injured will be OK in time.

seems pretty common to close roads now to investigate accidents

I never take that ramp even when traffic is light. It's just too dangerous!!!

Big yellow bus hard to miss seeing. Someone not paying attention.

The article doesn't say who is to blame but Wake Co. hasn't had anything but bad press this school year about their buses.

The ramp will be fine if it had a stop light. Also, as part of the bridge replacement about to start design several options were being examined that would correct this intersection the most interesting of which would loop cars around onto Harrington (for a long ramp) and then signal Harrington at Peace. Also (though it was soundly dismissed) a small group of downtown residents tried to get the area restored to an at-grade crossing like it was when Fairview intersected Peace at that spot. (Fairview was replaced by Capital in the 50's)

They need to close off that exit ramp from Capital onto Peace Street. It's nothing more than a death trap for anyone trying to make a left hand turn onto Peace.

It wasn't sunny this morning. Also, how do you miss a school bus? I could see maybe missing a motorcycle, but a school bus?

If driving scares you, take the bus.
