Why not air the basketball game on 5.2, since it is also being shown on ESPN? This is a bad decision by WRAL and will cost them many of their loyal viewers, like myself. I will now tune to one of the other local networks for my news and will only tune into WRAL for Survivor and The Big Bang Theory from now on. WRAL, you have disappointed many triangle viewers with this decision !!!

Duke - State ... other ACC matchups could be OK for some (I like them myself) however you have altered the programming and put some of the regular shows on 5.2 and other cable channels -- how about us folks on DirecTV -- only have one channel and when you send something to the others, we can't get it -- don't live close enough to your tower to get reliable "off-satellite" reception. If you can have multiple listings on cable, should be able to have same on DirecTV. Please check into doing this.

I'm assuming those posting here have internet, as the story indicates, one of the shows is available online. As for what viewers in this area would rather watch, I can assure you it would be the game, this is college basketball country, always has been. As for not wanting to pay TWC extra for a DVR, some of us do not have cable at all and these televised games of LOCAL teams is the only opportunity we get to see them.

Poor option. Many of us don't chose to pay Time Warner the ridiculous rates for a DVR on top of the rates for cable and internet. Has anyone at WRAL ever actually polled their viewers to see whether they would prefer to watch regular programming or basketball? I suspect not. Never had this problem in New York, but then again, New York is a real market.

    WRAL, you are welcome.

Elementary is the most watched new show from this season, so it can't be all that bad. Ratings would drop if it were. I haven't watched it so I can't speak from experience though.

I know some folks here may be surprised to know not everyone lives and breathes ACC basketball. I wonder how many of those w/o cable who can't get WRAL2 will watch the game. I wonder how many would truly miss out watching these games if all were carried on WRAL2. God forbid we upset B-ball fans!

I have satellite and DO NOT HAVE WRAL2. Thanks to WRAL for having common sense. Person of Interest and Elementary are the two WORST shows on TV.

It states on the picture that the game is at 8:00PM and then you read the story and it states the game will be played at 9:00PM. I now feel that NCSU will hang with Duke and hour longer than I had originally thought. OK WRAL you need to fix this.

How many times is it gonna take for people to realize that WRAL has no choice to carry the game. It is a contract that ACC has with the CBS stations to carry the game. It's all about money folks.

It would be good if both shows were never aired ... again. Current television programming is 95% junk.

Only okay if Maryland is playing, right? Guess you won't have to worry about that naext year.
