um, the students are studying in the tent, using their Ipads and books. It's also only required to have 1 student. They rotate around, so they can go to classes. Most of those students are probably smarter than people who think they are just wasting their time sitting in tents doing nothing.

Great! Why do these things always come through here after dark when we can't see it coming!?! Grrr...

Praying for EVERYONE in this thing's path. It's HUGE, the wind is already buffeting the house, and the storm isn't even near here yet.

Be smart and be safe folks! God can wait for ya! ;o)

For a basketball game? Really? Why are you in school again?

Some of us had to work really hard to graduate from college, and even harder just to get there. Maybe you aren't being challenged enough or else your priorities should be checked.

These are probably the same people we should worry about whenever a storm hits because of the demonstrated lack of sense! OpenM1nd

The tents in K-ville were taken down (the ones that can be taken down and don't have to be disassembled) at the direction of the head line monitors because the high winds. They didn't blow down.

People need to take this storm very seriously. It's bad enough that it will be here in the wee hours of the night. I only hope that when daylight comes, we're not on the morning news with overhead footage showing total devastation. Everybody get prepared....this could be of biblical proportions.
