Dear BillFisher:

I would like you to interview me. As a single mother, I received food stamps while I finished my education. I would like to think that my vocabulary is more expansive that the average person (as I scored a perfect score on my SAT verbal, and graduated at the top of my class in college). Additionally, in general conversation I am more eloquent than...well, hey, probably you!

Next time you make broad generalizations about classes of people, remember that there are people like myself (a food stamp and medicaid recipient) that are working harder to achieve stability for their family than any of these right wing nuts who discredit people like myself without any consideration to the circumstances.

How was that for sounding dumb?

This gentlemen was fustrated with the situation of having a $300 light bill so he told his girlfriends 18 year old son and his 18 year girlfriend that were living there to get out. I don't believe he should have went to the extremity to have shot rounds into his own home to try to scare them. Just to show what alcohol can do to some people.

so everyone can be armed with their nice, shiny AR-15s and protect their own. Sounds like a great solution to me! Unbroken January 30, 2013 9:57 a.m. Report abuse

Most AR-15 and other personal defense weapons are not shiny.

Gun control? You betcha. AGAIN, A LOADED GUN IN THE WRONG HANDS. CONTINUE TO ARGUE YOUR OPINIONS. SO WHERE HAS IT GOTTEN YOU SO FAR, SHORT OF THE KILLINGS, AND INJURIES?

Ever see these gun advocates interviewed on television? I swear they are the dumbest people this country has to offer.

Obamacare rises

Ever seen the ones receiving food stamps and housing allowances interviewed? They take the cake.

"Ever see these gun advocates interviewed on television? I swear they are the dumbest people this country has to offer."

Besides disagreeing with you, tell us something you have heard them say that was dumb?

"There is no "right" to own a particular type of gun and your Liberty does not trump the right to live of the 8000 Americans slaughtered every year by your sad toys."

Unless MY guns are hurting someone, then my liberty is in tact. My right does not trample other rights unless I make it happen. Someone else doing crime is not me, they are the ones trampling rights. Punish them.

The yahoos always lose when the government comes for their guns.

Oh boy, better pass more gun control laws to get rid of those evil things!

The alcohol doesn't pour itself into the glass and then into the mouth of the drinker, and makes him/her get into the car and drive drunk.

The spoon doesn't scoop itself into the ice cream and then into the mouth of the over-eater.

But, apparently people think that a gun has a mind of its own and has powers over its user.

I've never seen a gun on trial in court. I've always seen people who committed crimes with guns on trial, though. It's people who are or are not in control.

Criminals have to love what is happening now. People are making their chosen vocation so much easier.
