"I guess if this officer did something wrong, there would be 300 comments for him to be fired....he SAVED LIVES and there is 11.....wow. Great job officer! You showed that there are good officers serving the communities around here." johnny2times

Liberals can't stand courage because they'd never knowingly put their lives in harm's way to save someone in trouble.

Ok, good deed. Now quit glowing and get back to work and the media will drop the article eventually.

Perhaps it "sounds fishy" because you would never have the courage to do what the officer did?

God bless this hero!! Some citizens have less than stellar images of our public servants. This young man and his quick response is what citizens hope for in public servants.

He is a hero. Governor McCrory-isn't there a state wide award for heroism like this???

  • HomeBrewDude Jan 28, 8:57 a.m.

He is my hero. I was not home and he saved my dog Sparky! I am forever grateful.

  • Realthoughts Jan 28, 8:20 a.m.

WRAL...you might want to update the heading to "into a burning building", otherwise it sounds like the officer burned the building.
