Well. For starters, jail, in Raleigh is fun. Past that, the prison had/have/has good food. You don't have to do much. Not laundry not bother with cellphones or games, just sit around try to get other people to bug off, or not. The foods good. Did I mention that? Would killing the person be better. Can't see how.

You/we us/ I / they? all need to accept, it'll never be fair. And on top of that did I mention that jail is fun. Really up the street creed, do away with bonds allow outside food delivery.

Great. How many years are we going to have to support and guard him? Maybe 50? If we are lucky.

Another case of where the victims life was taken away and the person reasonable gets to live on. Our great legal system at its finest.

It makes you sad to see a handsome young man like that who sensely wasted his life by doing this. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining about his sentence. I just wish he had used better judgement. He and the country would be better off and the Enloe student would be alive.

Great. A new $1,000,000 tab for NC tax payers. Why did libs insist on stopping the death penalty? It's so much cheaper and more reliable

It happens all the time. I know exactly what eligible means, that's why I did not say free in 13 years.

I love the way life means eligible for parole in 13 years.
    Hmmmmmm

Eligibility and getting paroled are two different things. If they weren't you'd be reading about paroled ex cons killing after they were sentenced to life.

If they can prove who actually pulled the trigger, then that's the one who get the needle.
