"I wouldn't normally advocate for the death penalty in non-fatal crimes. I might reconsider that stand for this guy."

another prime example of where the sentence should fit the crime and if judge roy bean was around he would be taking a slow walk to a short drop!!!!

What past convictions? The story says nothing about that. The list of crimes is of what he was charged with. Read before jumping to conclusions.

  • simplemind2 Jan 25, 1:11 p.m.

  • chairmannc Jan 25, 12:33 p.m.

A career criminal because the state allows him to be. With his criminal past he should have been locked away way longer than he was. Start letting the people who are incarcerated for non-violent drug convictions out and replace them with this type of scumbag who preys on the elderly and woman in our society. It's sad that people can continue to commit crimes again and again and know they will get nothing harsher than a slap on the wrist.

  • oleguy Jan 25, 11:59 a.m.

  • baldchip Jan 25, 11:49 a.m.

Lock him up and throw away the key. If he has not learned in 30 years, he won't now.

  • whatdowehavehere Jan 25, 11:36 a.m.

He's 55, a criminal, and obviously has never had a caring thought of his actions. The reason his victims are elderly is because he's smart enough to know that a twenty-forty year old victim could over take him while commiting the crime. Age is not relavent when it comes to a criminal, unless it matters to his safety.

  • blahblahblah Jan 25, 11:34 a.m.

Glad he is off the street. Hopefully, he stays off.
