Make all schools year round and then maybe maybe people will vote for another bond issue. Until then, I wont vote to give the school system a "dime". The post indicated that the CC didnt approve another site so they must have approved this on.

Stuff like this is why the school board should have nothing to do with land and building schools. they should lay PROVABLE requirements out to the county commissioners and the the commissioners should handle property purchase and building. It is also time to STOP building more schools. It is time to use other options to provide educational opportunities for the kids in Wake County. The Traditional Public school system is a dinosaur that needs to end. Absolutely ZERO accountability exists. thus the students end up with substandard education.

not much of a school can be housed on 2 acres of land. Appears to be another waste of money by our wonderful wake county board of education.

The building across the street, that looks like an old school, is being remodeled and will be the Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy in the fall.

What about the building right down the street that looks like an old school. It's not two blocks away from the YWCA site. Did anyone see about reopening that school?
