People here are correct. As another policy holder, I can say they don't give you much of any break for being healthier than your peers, never having doctor visits or prescriptions. They were going up 37% on me just for having a birthday, so I cut it to a lesser plan. The insurance lobby in this country is a powerful one.

NON PROFIT MY FOOT.......THEY ARE ALL ABOUT PROFIT.......

WANT YOU TO STAY HEALTHY,AS I ALREADY DO AND MY PREMIUMS IN THE PAST 4 YRS HAVE DOUBLED.......WHY AM I NOT COMPENSATED FOR BEING HEALTHY????/

If they want to challenge their policy holders to get fit, then give those of us who ARE extremely fit, some SERIOUS discounts on our premiums.

BMI is a faulty system. If you only use weight and height as the online BCBS does then the most in shape people will be "obese". It does not take into account muscle mass.

I challege BCBS to pay what they said they will pay. Nonprofit my hiney.

Insurance NEVER goes down. Wait until the ObamaCare exchanges come in and drop rates in half.........for about a year, and then they double the old rates.

Yep. We'll save money.

Insurance with BCBS, over 22 years. Premiums paid to BCBS tens of thousands of dollars. Amount of claims paid to me by BCBS less than 3000.00. Total increase in premiums over the years 187% along with increased deductions, higher co-pay and less benefits. Will they lower rates. Doubt it.

The wellness program, you do get a bit of a discount, not much, but hey it counts. I'm loving this fit program... can't beat it! at least in my eyes

"I hope as they are getting healthier their insurance rates are going down"

Nope. People getting healthier means more for BCBSNC. Eat more fried food and get your money's worth out of them lol.
