Now that's the law hard at work.... NOT ! She was brutally murdered and he gets 3 hots and a cot for the rest of his life.... I US TAX PAYERS PAY FOR THAT!!! Thanks judge and jury for your utter smartness !

If I ever run for Governor, part of my campaign will be to bring back the gallows.

Great get to pay for this illegal for the rest of his life.

We all pay for illegals one way or another.

people worried about gun control while the real problem is illegals.

STABBED TWENTY-THREE TIMES! Stabbing is an awfully personal crime. I hope he NEVER sees the light of day again.

to uhavenoclu and to JAFOTOO. according to the origanal story when this first happened he was here illegally. he had been deported justa few months eariler and came right back. also, if she were pregnant at the time he would not be charged with killing a fetus because that law wnet into effect in NC in Novemer of that same year, seveal months after the crime.

He killed her because he thought she was pregnant. Was she? If so, he murdered her and his child. He should be charged with 2 counts of 1st degree murder. I know that is not a law but it should be.

Was he here legally??????????????????????????????

Adios........................................

It doesn't say life without the possibility of parole. I hope that's just an oversight in the article, because this guy should have zero possibility of ever being free again.

So he gets to live and she is dead. Thats the great american law system at work. Spend the 35 cents and put an end this legal system we have where you can murder someone and still get to live.
