It's been 3 days and I haven't heard anything about the one I want to adopt. I am ready if someone will just let me know please!

So sad that something bad happens to someone who has done so much good. I wish I could take just even one, but I have four of my own and am covered in vet bills right now :(

This woman is so special and is a blessing to those animals. Come on people, help her out! I offered to take one and I have three already. I, too, have made arrangements should something happen to me as I truly love my "children", fur and all!

Susan, prayers are with you and hope someone lets me know soon on the one I offered to adopt.

I sent in a request to adopt and anxiously awaiting to hear something back. I wish I could take more than one, but I have three "fur children" now.

God Bless Ms. Susan praying for you and your furry friends. I have 3 cats of my own and have 1 that I foster for a total of 4 cats in my home. If you don't want to adopt consider fostering. I have fostered for years and I get more out of it then I put in.

Hey...I just sent a message on Ms. Susan's website from the story...I can't afford to adopt any animals or give any money because of my financial situation but wanted her to know her and her furbabies were in my prayers. Maybe this is a silly idea...maybe not...but if you are in a position like mine, maybe you could go to her page and send a note of encouragement. I imagine it would mean a lot to her. She is a special lady that those animals and her friends and family are blessed to have in their life...though I've never met her...this shows in her love for others.

Come on, WRAL. Keep this story near the top where people can see it. Maybe it will help her find these animals a good home. That's more worthwhile than reading about it being cold outside, babbling politicians and Battaglia being on some stupid game show.

Amen!

Ms. Susan..I hope this message gets to you somehow, and all of the other messages posted here. Maybe WRAL can get them to you? Your story has really touched my heart. With family and five furkids of my own I cannot afford to adopt any animals right now..I wish I could. Thank you for reminding us all that there are good people like you out there. God bless you and your furbabies and your mom. May He give you peace and wrap you in His arms and show you His love all of your days. He will be sure your furbabies are taken care of somehow...trust Him..He can do all things :).

I hope she is able to find homes for all of her furbabies. Both of my parents passed from cancer, and having their dogs and cats around them while they were sick was a godsend. Their dog, Rally, wouldn't leave their side and even slept in the bed during their final days.
