how sad that most of the comments regarding this story have a racist tone. Some immigrants are bad and some are good. Just like natural citizens....Hopefully they get this scumbag out of here or lock him up asap so he can quit giving hard-working, honest people a bad name.

Hey Scubagirl, I encourage you to join your local police department or the U.S. Marshals, and report back to us on how many illegal hispanics you lock-up for failing to appear on misdemeanor charges. Really??? They might have their picture on four different identifications, and just go live somewhere else in a 2-bedroom apartment with 19 other people. Good luck with that!

He probably did what many of them do, give a false alias and manage to wiggle out of the system the 1st time. Seems like they catch these guys and they usually find them using several different names.

Because the federal government is exempt from suits. And, your "deselection of duty" comment is just plain laughable. Finally, class action suits do not apply to personal injury resulting from car accidents.

Why are the injured parties not filing suit against the Department of Homeland Security for dereliction of duty? they are knowingly and willfully permitting these criminals to remain in this country.. Sound like everyone who experiences any financial or physical impact has a case.. I cant see why some enterprising lawyer has not started a class action suit.. more money to be made here than against the cigarette manufacturers..

get this - they stop a disproportionate number of latinos and ask for ID. It's preferable that illegals kill someone than be profiled.

get this... what is preferable is for Hispanic-Americans to travel the streets of the cities we work, live and pay taxes in without being harrassed by LEOs because the color of our skin... See contray to popular belief you can not tell an illegal by just looking at them!!!!
