e FloorSomething must be done to keep the floor at the PNC Ice House dry. Once again, a player slipped at the end of the game on a wet spot on the floor...could have been seriously injured. It happened in a previous game, too. This will continue to happen as long as they continue to allow them to place a wooden basketball floor over a frozen Hockey Rink. In addition, in both games, the outcome of the game could have been different if the player had not slipped on the floor. NCSU needs to do something about this problem...it is inexcusable in a supposed modern technology situation

Same thing used to happen at the Boston Garden, wooden b-ball floor over the ice where the Bruins played.

Personally, I think that NCSU should look to build an arean that it owns and controls. Probably won't happen because too much $$$ would be involved. But as long as we do not control the scheduling at PNC, this will continue.

Good hard fought W. Booker was a monster scoring, but Howell outrebounded him. Still can't figure out why we did not put some token ball pressure in the backcourt when Clemson threw it in and did not pick up the ball so start the clock until the ball was almost over half court. Putting on the ball pressure would have forced them to pick up the ball and I don't think they would have even gotten that last 3 off.

Warren had a monster game. I agree about sitting CJ, and Howell is a beast who never gives up, even when he isn't scoring, he's playing great D.

+1 Good one! Your guys won, though, and a W is a W.

The ACC has a lot more parity than I originally thought. Clemson managed to make a game out of it, but State prevailed. Congrats to Pack Nation.

Unless a certain coach starts requiring some passionate defense, you are right. BTW, I would sit Calvin and start Warren, until that changes. Great game, Howell. You ARE the MVP right now. Saved us again with your hustle.

This team won't make it out of the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament.

49ers and Ravens:)

State had all kinds of trouble with Booker inside ..... even an alley oop lob on in inbound for a dunk to him, that shouldn't happen. It's a win though .... I don't care for the all black uniforms that State has used on occasion. Looks like Gottfried is starting to lean on the 2-3 zone a little. He's using it more and more.

Wonder how many pack fans enjoy these ugly wins with out realizing, States got some serious issues.
