superman, the State gave the property to the museum. But isn't the museum supported at least in part with tax money, making it kind of moot? Love the way the most desirable acreage just gets handed away by the State with no benefit to the citizens.

I dont understand how the museum can do this with state property.

I thought that the State was not supposed to compete with private industry!

Has the Council of State agreed to this idea, or will they take the land back if the plan is adopted as policy by the Museum?

I would think that the land was given to the Museum for expansion of the Museum facility and programs!
