You must dont look at the NBA games that at all, because its full of nothing but ego's. And i pray to god that CJ doesnt get drafted by the Bobcats, because that would be punishment its self.

This young man has came a very long ways in just barely 2 yrs under Gott & his staff, plus hes still growning up, so pls just give him a break.

I think State has a solid chance of winning on Saturday with Kelly out..That guy has been sensational this year, not just with tremendous shooting, but with his defense. He also really keeps teams from collapsing on Mason Plumlee. Curry better be "on" for Duke to win that one..

His attitude does hurt him in college, but we are talking the NBA with players like Meta World Peace. Attitude has not been an issue in the NBA, ecspecially over the last 20 years or so. The NBA probably has more players with attitudes than all the rest of the sports combined. I also think Leslie has more atheletic ability than Hodge did all the way around. Hodge didn't start off too good in the NBA but he was still on a team when he got shot. Never know if he would have improved, it did affect him, but he still was not the athelete that Leslie is.

You must not have known CJ as a Freshman. The guy has come a long way. He's leading his team in scoring and to a 13-2 record. I think he'll be just fine....your hokies though? mmm, not so much.

OK. He has the skills, but his attitude isn't all that much. He's another Julius Hodge too often. Just an opinion. He did a solid job tonight. If he can keep his ego in check....who knows? I wouldn't take him if I were GM of the Charlotte Bobcats. My best guess is that he plays over-seas.

    — Posted by PacknoPride

Kind of like UNC over the last 20 years huh? Always near the top in the nation in freethrow attempts. Besides, you should really learn the stats before you make a comment, might make you look a little smarter, but then again that might be impossible. Announcer said State had almost as many made freethrows as their oppenents had attempted, not as many. You must be a AA Studies major, we know what kind of education they get, or I should say lack off. With every post you amke on this site you just make yourself look du*ber and du*ber.

  • redistrumps Jan 9, 10:37 p.m.

poor PacknoPride, no one cares about UNC anymore, just a cheating college.

Now, come on Pack let's beat the only other NC team worth mentioning, Duke, this weekend!!

    GO PACK!!

  • Sauras69 Jan 9, 10:37 p.m.

Leslie had his attitude in check tonight and it made a difference. If he keeps this attitude, he may get some teams to take notice. He reminds me of Hodges. Leslie is a high maintenance player. No telling how much time and energy coaches have put forth to keep up with him.

  • jblee2 Jan 9, 10:29 p.m.

Great last ten minutes of the game, gotta keep grinding though. This level of play, even as Duke is now w/o Kelly, likely won't result in a win on Saturday. But we all know they have the capability. Go Pack!

  • harr2006 Jan 9, 10:26 p.m.

Pack is really maturing finding a way to win games the way good teams do..GO PACK!!

  • cas-65 Jan 9, 10:26 p.m.

Nothing comes easy for this team, but they held in there and got the win. Not looking forward to Saturday!

  • Sauras69 Jan 9, 10:19 p.m.

I've always been a numbers person. State did a solid job tonight. They shot 51.9% FG's. 46.7% 3's. 69% Ft's. GT didn't come close. Leslie played like he was talked to since the last few games. Wood came on strong and he sealed this one. He's a flopper, and I appreciate the officials not going for this. He can't play a lick of defense, but he can shoot. Solid win for the Pack.

  • PanthersFan45 Jan 9, 10:13 p.m.

Big win for State and it should give them some momentum going into Saturdays matchup w/Duke. 3-pointers down the stretch helped put the Jackets away ...... I started to switch over and watch the FSU-Maryland game which has proven to be a wild game down the stretch. Hard to believe Maryland blew a 14 point lead in the game, they almost rallied but had a 3 point attempt blocked at the buzzer.

  • Gunnstigator Jan 9, 10:11 p.m.

Great game - the best I've seen all season. Loved the fast pace. Congrats, Pack. Hard-fought win. Your guys looked really good.

Getting out-hustled. Howell is playing harder than the other 4 combined when he's in. Got a little too fancy with passes, trying to make "the" play.

Hopefully, we can pull out the W.

  • jblee2 Jan 9, 9:31 p.m.

This reminds me of last year's game which they won 82-71. Just hope we can pull this one out...so frustrating. I don't know how to say this, but it'll take two second halves of the Michigan game to beat Duke. I'll be watching and rooting hard!

I was thinking the same exact thing. and I even wondered if that was why the game was so close w/Boston College the other day. The Duke game is a big matchup at home on Saturday ...... if they beat GT & Duke, you can bet Pack fans will storm Hillsborough Street. With a 1st place, undefeated ACC start AND it coming at the hands of Number 1 ranked Duke that area will be partying. Would I like to see it ? No, .. I'd LOVE to see it happen.
