I'm ok with regulating guns like cars.

- you can take your car to any school and government building - you can drive a car at 16, so 16 year olds should be able to own guns just like cars - teach gun ed like driver's ed in schools - banks should offer 4-6 year gun loans just like cars - can't afford a gun? Lease one! - the Dems want to give driver licenses to illegal aliens, so illegal aliens should be able to own guns - convicted felons can own cars so they should be able to own guns - you don't need a background check to buy a car so you shouldn't need one to buy a gun - you don't need license to registration to own a car if you don't use it on a public street, same should be for guns

Let's not. While I can concede some restrictions and laws, stuff like insurance and annual inspections goes a bit far. If you want SERIOUS discussion on the issue, propose sensible ideas.

A loser like this who is already a felon, who commits a crime with a gun, should be put away for life without the possibility of release... Those are the only new gun laws that are acceptable!

They were used in the recent mall shooting, the Newtown shooting, and the Aurora, Colorado theater shooting. After semi automatic handguns, they are the weapon of choice for mass shooters.

Once again, when banned, assault weapon deaths went down. Right now, assault weapon deaths are up. Way up. As they aren't good for hunting (at least as a good sportsmen, what harm is there in banning them?

If you commit a crime with a weapon there should be a mandatory active sentence.

I think it's important to have background checks on illegal gun pruchases, illegal immigrants, illegan residents of the white house, etc. You used all your time pushing socialized medicine rather than lobbying for the safety of the American public. Oh, I forgot. That's what your socialzed medicine comes in.

What needs to be done to get the guns of the hands of criminals??? Case in point, three separate incidents of Cop shooting in NYC today, in one, the 9 mm hand gun was stolen from NC last month.
