He didn't. He couldn't even if he wanted to.

Only congress can spend money- including giving themselves raises (though they don't kick in until the next congress when they vote raises for themselves)

This makes me furious! Fire the lot of them and let's elect new members who CAN get the job done.-Dukefan1

It's funny... everyone hates congress, but thinks THEIR congresspersons are doing a good job.

Hence we get 80-90% of congress retaining their seats every election for generations nows.

This country is DOOOOMMMED!!!! God help us because he's the only one that can rescue us. Surely can't count on the govt. Wish there was someone up in DC who gave a >>>> about America but they could care less. I say we start a protest, uproar, get up to DC and FIRE them you know what's.....If you have a job, you are robbed of your hard earned money, if you are unemployed you still have no money...what's the difference??!!!
