Good point. The news DID say she had a 'bad feeling' and turned around-if so, that 'bad feeling' may have saved her and the other children's lives. Regardless of the whys it's a sad story all the way around and all the way back to the fire.

We pick at the headline enough and we don't have to face the fact that two people are dead, murdered by the father, one the father. WRAL is good about changing the headline as facts emerge. Someone down at the station is busy all day doing just that.
