I live in Garner off Bryan rd. All i can say is nothing in my home is worth your life. If i find you here at night the coroner will find you here in the morning.

Its not about the black community, What about the shooter in CT, He was white and killed LOTS of ppl (including children)

BritBrat December 21, 2012 3:49 p.m. ____________________________________________________________ ____ One time mental case, this is an example of every single day, really, look at the news feed, I'm talking every single day and something more than three crims a day, and people as young as 13 years old.

Tax Man December 21, 2012 2:47 p.m............Most likely stole the gun(s) from someone else. Look, I know it's gonna go the wrong way, but something is serious wrong in a certain group of our citizens to kill and break in on folks, and they don't get nothing of real value. It's like, you got, I want and I'll take.

We have a drug court so why not have an assult court, gun court etc. sounds good to me.

But remember, guns don't hurt people. PEOPLE shoot people.

Rolling my eyes....

any yet another news story about a violent crime that was facilitated by the lobbying of the NRA. fredk So in other countries ( no NRA ) who is resposible for those violent crimes. Because we have to acknowledge that crime does occur in other countries with no gun lobby. So what is your answer????

So bet these folks did not have legal guns - bet they purchased them in the black market. Another reason the have your permit and your weapon at the ready for felons like these - you need to protect yourselves as when you really need help NOW the police are only minutes away.....

"Three armed criminals against an unarmed victim. That's how they like it. It's probably a good thing for them they didn't choose my home, the story would have been very different."

You sir/ma'am...are a true patriot and an American. Well said...

Really? What world do you live in? The only problem I see here as it relates to firearms is that the victim did not have one in his hand when they kicked in the door to his home. Grow up.

There are 88 firearms per every 100 citizens in this country. Do you really think that the government can ever recover them all...no. So...the only folks who would not have them are the law abiding. People with your mindset are simply living in a dream world.
