@jscott13, You may find this hard to believe but when you step out of your house every day you risk your life! The world is full of hazards that could take your life. The problem with today's society is not the guns, more so the population and there rapidly decreasing effort to teach their children respect and the value of life!!!!!!!!!!

When you hunt you risk your life. When you own a gun you risk your life. Piers Morgan was right to call the man defending owners of guns on his show "stupid". Loved it!!!

One of those terrible assault rifles must have attacked him. Gotta keep them on a leash people!

It's not a sport, much less a challenge. I grew up hunting in Randolph County with bow & rifle in the years where we could all wear cammo and not worry about orange blaze. Still, hitting a buck from 150 yrs with a modern rifle and scope is pretty much a joke, kids do it everyday.

So no, hunting isn't a sport.

Hunting today with modern weapons is a joke. It's not even much of a sport. Common_Sensey

You ALMOST took Sanford's title......almost

Hunting today with modern weapons is a joke. It's not even much of a sport.

It is still deer season and I will tell you there are noise hunters out there. The duck hunter was possibly not wearing orange which makes him fair game to a noise hunter. That's a person that shoots at a noise without seeing what it is to those non-hunter types.

That gives Hunting Season a whole new meaning.

I drove past where they found the hunter yesterday while on my way into Sanford. The area is very popular with deer hunters, it would not surprise me to find out that this was an accidental shooting by a deer hunter. And, it's a a really odd place to go duck hunting - I don't know of any water around that area.

Hunters dont get along well with other hunters.. Sanford_27330

I know it's early in the day but you have the most moronic comment title so far. Good luck defending it.
