Like I said yesterday, this is suspicious and anybody who thinks otherwise is just in denial or fooling themselves.

the smoke kills her

Yep, its the smoke that gets you way before the fire does. Its more than smoke, its more or less poison gas, depending on what is burning. Most people think its like smoke from your grill and that they can just tough it out with maybe their shirt over their face, but its way more than that. Stay as low as you can , as the smoke/fumes rise. Crawl out. Trying to rescue or exit in an upright position will get you killed in most cases.

May God bless the family and all who have suffered or will suffer from this terrible trajedy. Another reminder of how precious life really is! May the Lord take you into his graces.

I would have died trying to save mine. I would not have thought to leave and come in thru another window. Good idea. Sad, sad...just sad.

I can't even begin to fathom losing my family...may God be with the family and friends who have suffered this loss

very sad........

So sorry for your loss! Praying for the families!

Have a plan to get out of the house and show the kids how to do it if the smoke alarm goes off. tell them just to get out and not wait for Mom or Dad to get them out. If the Fire and/or smoke is between you and your kids thats the only way you and they will survive.

"Awful. Suspicious, too."

Possibly but it happens, alarm goes off and kids are cut off from Mom by smoke and fire, Mom makes the very understandable mistake of trying to get to the kids and the smoke kills her and then them. Smoke will kill in seconds. In a small house like that its better to go out the window and around to their window and get them out that way. Better still, tell them to go out the window as soon as they hear the alarm and go to friends house next door or similar.

So sad :( prayers to the family

Prayers to the husband and family! So sorry to hear such a horrible tragedy.
