It's not ghetto at all. These buildings are owned by a developer who has long term plans for an office tower or hotel on the site. In the meantime he is renting them for whatever he can get into a space that is not fixed up whatsoever. Actually, I am surprised he is fixing the building and not just demolishing it. Mind you, it is among the oldest buildings in downtown and I would prefer to see it kept and renovated...

Oh well. That would be great if we did get a good Italian Bakery. Oh 2 wish!

There is no bakery opening up beside that building. It is only a storefront facade. Frankly, I hope the sweepstakes place doesn't open back up.

I got stuck in it during peak and it was NOT "serious". The amount of traffic on that street between 645am and 8:30am is not as heavy as people may think. There was a tractor trailer trying to back into a delivery bay about a month ago that caused a delay of 19 minutes! That was the longest I've been stuck in traffic in over six years.

Forget the sweepstakes building. Whats up with that Bakery opening up beside it. Yummmm! I am getting ready to google that one.

That's smack downtown; I didn't realize all of downtown was a ghetto, according to the previous poster.
