Talk about moore's law, If indeed this is what happened. But i W Would not put it pass LE to trip the alarms, and then proceed inside. Because without the alarms, They had no probable cause to enter. Prolly some snitch told them about this house and rolled over on his dealer......As my mama used to say "There is more then one way to skin a cat"

"Sounds like the police set it off just to have another officer respond to the call....."

What a very intelligent comment - really?

  • same ole story Dec 7, 8:37 a.m.

Something sounds a little to "fishy" to believe a guy with this much stuff just walked away from his home with the door wide open and the alarm going off??? Sounds like the police set it off just to have another officer respond to the call.....

The drugs/quantities found are consistent with a lower mid-level drug dealer. The overall "variety" also somewhat supports that.

Other than ecstasy and GHB, most of the other drugs are of the pharmaceutical type. FWIW: hydromorphone is commonly known as "Dilaudid" and commands a seriously high price per tablet on the street.

This guy likely is greater at risk for the manufacturing/intent to sell charges than the mere possession charges per se. His attorney might have a field day with probable cause, but hopefully the officers got that part correct.

It beats forgetting the ice cream and frozen pie in the trunk of the car.

  • charmcclainlovesdogs2 Dec 6, 4:23 p.m.

I guess by now the criminal realize the alarm did not help themn one bit. Oh, they need to learn to lock their doors.

  • charmcclainlovesdogs2 Dec 6, 4:14 p.m.

Now will the deputies and sheriff do the right thing and destroy these illegal drugs? Are will they keep some for themselves? If so, then they are dead wrong.

  • JKKC Dec 6, 4:10 p.m.

Well, your honor, I just stepped out for a few to go get some munchies to watch the game. But when I got home, the police siad they found the door open and drugs in the house. Somebody must have set me up!!! Yep, that's it. That's my story and I'm sticking with it!!!!

  • JKKC Dec 6, 4:07 p.m.

How did thet catch you? I mean, you have an alarm?

I forgot to close the door after turning on the alarm.

Judge, need we say more about where his next residence will be??

  • charmcclainlovesdogs2 Dec 6, 3:51 p.m.

  • djofraleigh Dec 6, 2:27 p.m.

Obviously, someone broke in, placed that stuff in the house, and set off the alarm to set this guy up.

  • workinghuman33 Dec 6, 2:25 p.m.

With the front door open and the alarm sounding, but the homeowner nowhere nearby, something's not quite right here. Was the place being robbed? Or was someone setting him up by planting the drugs in his house?
    albegadeep""

You just made me laugh! More likely it was someone that knew he sold drugs and were trying to rob him than planting drugs in his home.

  • eagle11 Dec 6, 2:23 p.m.

    @ albegadeep

Usually the door isn't shut all of the way and the wind blows it open setting the alarm off. Police show up and clear the residence to ensure no crime is being committed.

  • danderson221 Dec 6, 1:34 p.m.

  • romneycare Dec 6, 12:31 p.m.

@babbelon LOL... "yo i got that GBH, whats up" hahahaha.. what int he world is gbh

  • NoObamaCare Dec 6, 12:30 p.m.

babbleon- These are synthetic drugs. GHb is growth hormone used to relax the muscles and sleep. Hydromorphone is synthetic morphine. The Adderall is used for ADHD but is a stimulant. All very dangerous when used abusively and not under the care of a physician. Kids are getting more and more risky with their drug preferences. What happened to smoking some weed, laying back and eating Doritos?

  • Bronco Dec 6, 12:30 p.m.

  • hollylama Dec 6, 12:28 p.m.

  • whateveryousay Dec 6, 12:02 p.m.

Drug dealer keeping his "portfolio" diversified. Imagine how this nimrod could have done if he were attempting to be an honest hardworking contributor. Instead, frying his brain, and taking the easy way out. Super. Looking forward to hard working tax dollars taking care of him.
