Talk about moore's law, If indeed this is what happened. But i W Would not put it pass LE to trip the alarms, and then proceed inside. Because without the alarms, They had no probable cause to enter. Prolly some snitch told them about this house and rolled over on his dealer......As my mama used to say "There is more then one way to skin a cat"

"Sounds like the police set it off just to have another officer respond to the call....."

What a very intelligent comment - really?

Something sounds a little to "fishy" to believe a guy with this much stuff just walked away from his home with the door wide open and the alarm going off??? Sounds like the police set it off just to have another officer respond to the call.....

"93 grams of marijuana; 2 grams of hashish; 23 tablets of controlled substances" ... and a partridge in a pear tree. davido

That is the funniest thing I've heard ALL day!!

"D'OH!" - Homer

"HA-HA!" - Nelson

The drugs/quantities found are consistent with a lower mid-level drug dealer. The overall "variety" also somewhat supports that.

Other than ecstasy and GHB, most of the other drugs are of the pharmaceutical type. FWIW: hydromorphone is commonly known as "Dilaudid" and commands a seriously high price per tablet on the street.

This guy likely is greater at risk for the manufacturing/intent to sell charges than the mere possession charges per se. His attorney might have a field day with probable cause, but hopefully the officers got that part correct.

"I hate it when you are so stoned you set off your own alarm and wander off."

It beats forgetting the ice cream and frozen pie in the trunk of the car.

I guess by now the criminal realize the alarm did not help themn one bit. Oh, they need to learn to lock their doors.

That's my story and I'm sticking with it!!!!

Now will the deputies and sheriff do the right thing and destroy these illegal drugs? Are will they keep some for themselves? If so, then they are dead wrong.
