I have a friend who's fiancee was murdered and the guy who did it recieved 14 years!! I do agree that they deserve some kind of punishment, but really 175 years!!?? That's just ridiculous!! I agree with Dale...Laws and sentenances need to be changed!!!!

A person has a choice to commit crime - or not. When the chance of getting caught is not enough to deter the criminals, the punishment if they ARE caught should be severe enough that they decide it's not worth the risk.

When that happens, then you will see crime rates drop!

So basically I can drink and drive and kill someone with my car or molest a child and get less than this guy. IMO, this is the craziest sentence ever. Our laws and sentences need to be changed.

Again, justice system is a joke! When someone is sentanced to 30 years, they should be in prison for 30 years. When someone is sentanced to death, they should be put to death within 10 days of sentancing. The criminals have more rights than they are entitled to. A criminal should lose certain rights that they enjoyed as a non-criminal!

The sentence will be reduced to something like fifteen years, out in seven, on appeal. One hundred seventy five years was nothing but a gesture on the judges part.

Well you all know what race he was to get that kind of time. He had kids as young as 16 involved in this string of crimes that happened in 2010. With his influence on those young kids and the intimidation that was probably involved with those kids AND the victims; he deserves alot of time in jail. BUT 175 years??? Out of all those robberies, he only had to pay $13,000 in restitution!!! It wasnt even that much money!! Their criminal buddies ex attorney Crouch and ex judge Ruth; they committed multiple crimes that could have resulted in MULTIPLE murders; but they get 12 months and NO TIME respectively. What is that about???? All three all need to wear jump suits, take pictures together and be recognized as the dirty felons that they will forever be. I just wish that the justice was fair and equitable. Must be the bow tie.....unless its worn by someone in the Nation of Islam.

I do not think they get a break on a Federal crime sentence. They pull the time, period.
