This has the reputation of being an excellent event.

Citizen Engagement? Can they define it in 10 words or less? Then it's another excuse to have a well-paid "task group".

Prediction: "engage" and its variations will be the Overused Meaningless Word.

This series has a proven history of attracting outstanding speakers and producing truly significant ideas. Great achievement for the University and a positive attraction for our area. Thank God for our outstanding public Universities and the great people who saw the wisdom in making them affordable!

Step one. Eliminate all State taxpayer subsidies to these Universities. They must stand on their own or cease to exist. So long as these subsidies exist, the actual price tag of an education can never be determined. That in-state tuition is the mostly costly tuition you will ever pay.
